Need something to do on a rainy or cold day? What about on that sunny day when everyone is b-o-r-e-d? How about a Rainbow Scavenger Hunt?
The rules are simple, and anyone can play. You can play separately or as a team. The object is to spot objects that are the color of the rainbow. So, you’ll be looking for something:
- Red
- Orange
- Yellow
- Green
- Blue
- Indigo
- Violet
Mix it up, and only look for things in order, or only look for themed objects, such as cars, books, flowers, etc.
For a more challenging version, put a time limit on the game! To extend the game, look for white (to represent the clouds) and gold (the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!) and black or silver (the color of the pot, of course!).
How many times can your family spot the colors of the rainbow, without selecting the same object twice? This game never gets old, it doesn’t require pieces, it’s quick, and can be played anywhere! Perfect for on the go entertaining, or those days with nothing to do!
